Fire Square

This is a simple to learn card game. Setting it up requires a deader to give four playing cards to each of the participants and then places twenty-five cards face down in the middle of everyone in a five by five square.

Beginning with the row of cards the longest distance away from the dealer, the cards are overturned one by one and if a player can match the card turned over with one that they are holding, they can choose another player to drink. The amount they are able to designate depends on the location of the card in the arrangement on the table.

A card in the row furthest away from the dealer is worth one finger of drink, while the second row down is worth two fingers and the other rows worth three, four and five fingers in the same order. Ideally, you want to be able to match a card from the bottom row, since that means you can nominate an opponent to drink five fingers!

Once all the cards on the table have been turned over, the game ends.
